Developed for Recess’s open design competition, the proposal translates the restaurant’s colorful West Loop atmosphere into a dense field of small illustrations. Food, drinks, games, furniture, and music wrap continuously around the can.
A contrasting label keeps the beer name legible while the pattern makes the package recognizable from every angle. Recess selected the proposal as the competition winner in April 2022, and the design was produced with Lake Effect Brewing Company. Block Club Chicago covered the competition.
