Norbert Schlotter Architects is an architecture and design studio founded by Norbert Schlotter, AIA, NCARB. Grounded in clarity, care, and material honesty, the studio approaches each project with a commitment to thoughtful design, authentic materials, and lasting simplicity.

We believe no scale is too small, because good design can be felt anywhere. Every project is approached with the same level of dedication, whether it is a custom object, an interior space, or a larger architectural work.

Drawing from experience at HENN in Germany, SOM in New York, and work on civic and transportation projects through GFT in Chicago, the studio combines clear conceptual thinking with careful attention to detail, craft, and construction.

Beyond architecture, the studio develops objects under the label nominomis, including Mr. Watt, recipient of the 2022 iF Design Award.
