Chicagoism proposes a new public venue just off Michigan Avenue near the Chicago River. It fills a gap in the urban fabric with exhibition space, gathering areas, and flexible rooms for events, forums, and workshops.
The project draws from the formal clarity of the Chicago School while opening itself to contemporary civic life. Its foyer doubles as a public threshold, connecting the institution directly to the movement and energy of the street.
At the birthplace of the skyscraper, architecture becomes more than an object on display. The building offers a platform for discussing how design shapes culture, commerce, history, and shared urban experience.
